Morocco:
In
2005 I first travelled there on the only bike I had:
A clapped out Honda Transalp. Nice on the road, but
totally unsuited for the dirt or sand. There's a trip
report and some photos for this trip. Having learnt
the hard way, I went back twice in 2007 with friends.
We all went on 400cc thumpers. A much better choice.
Below are still images and lots of videos from both
trips.
The Moroccan Sahara is mainly hamada (flat rocky nothingness),
cliffs and gorges and a fair bit of sand. There are
also the Atlas mountains. I really liked the Berber
people in the desert. Super friendly and helpful. Below
are words, photographs and lots of movies. Check them
out!
